The Lionised King.
This cartoon by John Curtis was originally published on the occasion of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday. A large painting of the cartoon (done in acrylic paint on canvas and blockmounted) was presented to Mandela as a birthday gift. A limited edition of 10 blockmounted canvas prints are available, the same size of that original (800 x 600mm), each individually numbered and signed by the cartoonist. The first of these prints, numbered 1 of 10, has been donated to the Habitat for Humanity Cartoon Auction.
